PROFESSIONAL IN INDUSTRIAL MEDICAL DEVICES
The program prepares the student in the areas of Medical Devices, including training in the interaction between functional human anatomy – physiology with the different medical devices, incorporating interaction with biomaterials, preventive aintenance, mechanics, electronics, automation (PLC), sensors, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, biomedical instrumentation, problem identification, manual and instrumental skills, necessary in the Medical Devices industries.

The medical device technician could work in different manufacturing companies globally from the manufacture of pacemakers to hypodermic needles. He can use his knowledge of electrical-mechanic instrumentation, calibration,maintenance, troubleshooting, validation, pneumatic, hydraulic,automation and PLC's.
Educational Format
The format of the IBI diploma programs consists of 2 semesters of 16 weeks.Requirements: Have completed High School or a higher degree. It is desirable to have previous professional experience, post-secondary basic courses and/or be displaced.
