Biomechanics

THSP754: Biomechanics. This course provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles of biomechanics. It covers both linear and angular mechanics, offering insights into how forces and movements affect biological structures. In addition, fluid mechanics is addressed, focusing on the behavior of fluids within biological systems and their impact on physiological processes.  The curriculum further explores the mechanics of materials, examining how various biological and synthetic materials respond to different mechanical stresses and strains. There is a dedicated study of the biomechanics of skeletal structures, nerves, and muscles, analyzing their roles and interactions in supporting movement and function within the human body.
