PROFESSIONAL IN ELECTRICITY AND INDUSTRIAL ELETRONICS

The student will be prepared in the areas of electrical and electronic systems, energy fluid, electricity, magnetism, electricity conversion, storage system, mechanics and preventive maintenance, motor control circuits, semiconductors, transistors and thyristors, pneumatics, hydraulics, diagrams-schematics, sensor, problem identification, automated systems (PLC), instrumentation and calibration.

Technician with skills and knowledge in installation, maintenance, repair of electrical appliances, for residential and commercial systems such as electrical wiring, DC and AC current of motors, controls and power distribution and transmission panels, prototype development, testing, system analysis, instrument calibration and preparation of electrical estimates and reports. Industries of interest are electric power companies, electric cars, wind turbines, photovoltaic farms, aviation, pharmaceutical, biotech, household, automotive and others.

Educational Format

The format of the IBI diploma programs consists of 2 semesters of 16 weeks.

Requirements

Have completed High School or a higher degree. It is desirable to have previous professional experience, post-secondary basic courses and/or be displaced.
