The professional operator in pharmaceutical industries program offers the knowledge and technological skills of electricity and mechanics, to work with instrumentation and equipment in preventive maintenance, calibration, automatization, sensors,hydraulic, pneumatic, troubleshooting, aseptic process so that they can develop the fundamental skills for reparation of equipment uses in the process of solid, semisolid, and parenteral products (liquids).

The program allows to work in pharmaceutical industries as Electrical-Mechanic technician including instrumentation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, validation, pneumatic, hydraulic, automatization, PLC’s, and repair at the manufacturing level in areas of solid doses (pills), semi-solid doses (ointments, suppositories, creams) and parenteral (liquid doses). In addition, the preparation allows the technician to work in the biotechnological, agricultural, chemical, and medical device industries.

Educational Format

The format of the IBI diploma programs consists of 2 semesters of 16 weeks.Requirements: Have completed High School or a higher degree. It is desirable to have previous professional experience, post-secondary basic courses and/or be displaced.
