Who Should Attend: The course is intended for science and medical students, technicians, engineers involved with biopharmaceutical industries.
Description: The course covers the three-dimensional structure of proteins, function, and enzyme kinetics. It covers protein characterization, synthesis, processing, expression, purification, folding in vivo and in vitro. The experimental experience covers different techniques used at industrial manufacturing process as protein quantification, separation using SDS-PAGE (polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis), affinity chromatography (AC), ion-exchange chromatography (IEC), hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC), immobilized metal ion affinity chromatography (IMAC).
