Description: The course covers lectures in DNA replication, transcription, RNA processing, translation, and regulation of gene expression in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The experimental part of the course covers genomic DNA extraction, PCR analysis, product purification, cloning the PCR product in a T-vector, and Southern Blot of restriction analysis from the positive clones.
