PROFESSIONAL IN INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY

The program covers the main aspects to develop acknowledgement in the areas of industrial chemical techniques including inorganic, organic, analytical, instrumentation and chemical process. In addition, includes sample collection and handling,cleaning, aseptic techniques, gowning, manufacture facilities and sanitization, preventive maintenance, mechanic,instrumentation, and calibration.

Chemical technicians often work in clinical (medical) laboratories conducting routine analyses of medical samples such as blood and urine. Industries which employ chemical technology include chemical, petrochemical,biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries. Companies within these industries can be concerned with manufacturing,research, and development (R&D), consulting, quality control, and a variety of other areas. Also, chemical technological working for these companies may be used to conduct quality control and other routine analyses, or assist in chemical and biochemical research including analyses, industrial chemistry, environmental protection, and even chemical engineering.

Educational Format

The format of the IBI diploma programs consists of 2 semesters of 16 weeks. Requirements: Have completed High School or a higher degree. It is desirable to have previous professional experience, post-secondary basic courses and/or be displaced.
