PROFESSIONAL IN INDUSTRIAL LABORATORY

The objective is to prepare personnel able to perform different duties in different industrial facets where theoretical and practical knowledge in operational chemistry, microbiology, aseptic techniques preparation of media is required. Among the skills are collection of different types of samples, cell growth, chemical processes and instrumentation, water purification, use of instrumentation, validation, instrumentation, preventive and mechanical maintenance.

A laboratory technician is a person who works in a laboratory performing analytical or experimental procedures, maintaining laboratory equipment, from preparing solutions, buffers, cultivation of cells, laboratory maintenance and other duties depending on the laboratory. This position is required in all industries, clinical facilities, hospitals.

Educational Format

The format of the IBI diploma programs consists of 2 semesters of 16 weeks. Requirements: Have completed High School or a higher degree. It is desirable to have previous professional experience, post-secondary basic courses and/or be displaced.
