Who Should Attend: The course is intended for science and medical students, technicians, engineers involved with biopharmaceutical industries.
Description: The course focuses on the fundamental principles of industrial environmental microbiology and their interactions with industrial processes. The course will address the characteristics of microorganisms with emphasis on pyrogen production, infectious diseases, biotechnology applications and molecular techniques. The lectures will be in the lab emphasizing the experiences and techniques in cleaning, different contaminants, aseptic techniques, gowning, air quality and the different levels of precaution in the biopharmaceutical industries.
