This is an advance course in bioremediation that emphasizes microbial degradation of chemical complex chemicals in gas landfills, solid waste, waste water treatment plants and air bioremediation using biofilters. In addition, the course focuses in topics of fitoremediation, mycoremediation and genetics. The course requires a term paper in bioremediation.
