Introduction to Robotics

THSP710: Introduction to Robotics. This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of robotics and provide insight into basic applications in the field. The curriculum covers the operating principles of a manipulator, offering a foundational understanding of how these devices function within industrial settings.

Additionally, the course describes four types of actuators commonly found in industry. Students will learn how each actuator operates and their role in the movement and control of robotic systems. By the end of the course, participants will have a comprehensive overview of the key elements that constitute modern industrial robotics.
