Understanding validation and applying a comprehensive validation philosophy are essential in today’s biotechnology industry. First and foremost, validation allows a company to operate in compliance with the regulations and guidance set forth by FDA. The course includes the topics of installation qualification, operational qualification, performance qualification, process qualification, cleaning validation, sterilizing filter validation, SPC and continuous process validation. Validation testing, preventive maintenance and principles of metrology are included.
