The course provides a comprehensive overview of the key concepts of molecular biotechnology, covering amino acids, nucleic acids, protein structure, protein synthesis, the three dimensional structure of proteins. It covers amino acid and nucleotide metabolism, DNA replication, transcription, RNA processing including RNA silent, translation, regulation of gene expression in prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
