The course covers the principal topics in recovery of protein from bacteria and mammal cells, protein separations, filtration, tangential flow filtration, clarification, ultrafiltration, diafiltration, sterile filtration, centrifugation, cell break, contaminants, protein refolding and buffers. The second part of the course emphasized in the industrial methods and protocols to the purification of proteins by different chromatography, large scale design, instrumentation use for quantification, protein formulation, and filling using aseptic techniques.
