PET GROOMING SUMMER CAMP

The summer camp in pet grooming focused on basic anatomy including the skeletal system, muscle,
skin, and coat. The use of dog grooming tools such as brushes, combs, clippers, blades, padding, and nail
cutting. The different types of coats, bathing and drying, basic cutting, trimming, brushing, and
detangling techniques are introduced to dog grooming. The student is trained in different cuts, canines
and basic puppy cut styles. Machine cut, typical cut in different breeds long, short, curly, and hard hair.
Instructed in canine first aid, evaluation, and response to emergencies. Student must provide their
equipment and pet (dog). Ideal for young pet lovers.
