CHUS631: Organic Chemistry & Biochemistry I.  The student will be able to determine characteristic reactions and transformations of a variety of types of organic molecules. This part of the organic and biochemistry certification covers structure and function of organic compound as saturated-unsaturated hydrocarbons, alcohols, esters, phenols, thiols, polymers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, esters, amides, and amines organic nitrogen compounds.
