The Review covers fundamental aspects of the depletion of the ozone layer by chlorinated gases in the
atmosphere. Aspects of the Federal Clean Air Act and the Montreal Treaty are covered. Covers small
appliances, at high and low pressures, substitutes for refrigerants and oils, refrigeration (steam vs.
liquids) at different points, cycles, and appropriate uses. In addition, it emphasizes recovery techniques,
evacuation, dehydration, security, and identification of refrigerants.
