PET GROOMING TECHNICIAN

Students will be able to work under conditions of pet grooming, cutting different types of hair from different breeds of dogs and cats. The training provides basic courses in animal anatomy and physiology, parasitology, toxicology, first aid, nutrition, pet care and breeding. The student will have skills in the use of equipment in different practices, techniques in bathroom types, skin care, drying and nail cutting. You will gain pet grooming skills and breed proper profile.

The Pet Grooming technician program is designed for students who want to open their own business or wish to have a highly paid job. This program allows the student to gain solid training and stay one step ahead in the multi-pet grooming industry with extensive training in dogs and cats.

Educational Format

The format of the IBI diploma programs consists of 2 semesters of 16 weeks. Requirements: Have completed High School or a higher degree.
