PET GROOMING STYLING

The Pet Grooming Styling Program will provide extensive skills in the refined use of cuts with the ability to work with many types of style requested by their clients. The courses comprised equipment and techniques, breed groups and coat types, basic animal first aid, animal preparation, pre-grooming and general care, skin conditions, bathing and drying, and trimming techniques for dogs and cats, pet grooming styling and breed profiles. To reinforce acknowledgement the program provides courses in animal health technology, comparative animal anatomy-physiology, pharmacology, toxicology, animal nutrition, applied microbiology-parasitology and animal nursing care. The student will have the opportunity to prepare his own portfolio.
The Professional Pet Grooming Styling program is designed for students who want to open their own business or wish to have a highly paid job.

Educational Format

The format of the IBI diploma programs consists of 3 semesters of 16 weeks. Requirements: Have completed High School or a higher degree.
